Okay, so recently I got my lovely boyfriend to start watching supernatural bc I love the show so much. And I’m also a big fan of The Walking Dead; the two are some of my favorite shows of all time.

So, we were discussing the supernatural and we got into the topic of John Winchester. Which I ofc hate with a passion.

But the hard part comes in because I adore Jeffery Dean Morgan! He’s a fantastic actor and awesome guy, he just plays villains so well. So I always praise his skills as an actor; but damn to I slightly feel bad for talking shit about his characters…

Like, John is an emotionally abusive and neglectful parent to his sons. He’s literally one of the worst dads in tv that I can think of. He literally actively ruins his kids lives for his selfish revenge plot.

Then there’s Negan, who is obviously super violent and kills tons of people for honestly no good reason. But on another hand he’s such a well written and interesting (also arguably the funniest ) character.

So, I was explaining this to my boyfriend to make him understand my weird relationship with John Winchester/Negan. How I do despise the characters but the actor is so likeable, I always feel conflicted with their scenes. I hate what’s going on, but I am in awe of JDM’s performances in some scenes.
